Uvac Canyon is that very photo of the winding river you've surely seen. It's a nature reserve in south-western Serbia.
What to do
- Climb to the viewpoint above the meanders for the main view.
- Take a boat ride along the river and visit the Ice Cave.
- Watch the griffon vultures — this is one of the largest colonies in Europe.
How to get there
The nearest bases are Nova Varoš and Sjenica. It's hard on your own — easier with a car or a tour from Zlatibor.
