I'm Danil, and I'm the author, the mastermind, the designer and the developer of this project — all in one.

About the project

The idea of making a handy site or app that gathers everything about Serbia in one place came to me a couple of years ago. Just imagine: you feel like it — and you check recommendations for a café or a whole city; read about a short weekend trip; glance at what's on soon; or just open the feed and see the latest news about what's happening in Serbia. That's exactly what Real Serbia is. Everyone will find something of their own here — whether you've lived here for years or arrived just for a couple of days.

An important note

This site is strictly one person's point of view, based on personal experience. And any opinion, as we know, can differ from yours — sometimes radically. So if something here doesn't match what you've seen, please don't be upset. Better write to me and tell your story: maybe it'll end up on the homepage.

Philosophy

As I said above, everything here is built on real experience. And, importantly, no one has ever paid me for a single recommendation. If I recommend something, it's worth it in my view — not according to someone's price list.
